Taunton Boat Race Turns Deadly

Three speed boats collided on Watson Pond in Taunton, Massachusetts this past Saturday leaving one man dead and two others injured.

According to the Boston Globe, “During the Bill Giles Memorial Regatta, which features hundreds of boaters racing slick, high-speed water vehicles at up to 85 miles per hour, a 39-year-old New Hampshire man died Saturday after a three-boat collision involving his hydroplane watercraft.”
