Brunswick Landing this Friday through Sunday (April 12-14), will still be going on. Stop by on Saturday and meet the stars of Wicked Tuna on the National Geographic Channel.

Maine’s Boating Expo hours:
Friday, April 12: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 13: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, April 14: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Also this weekend, it’s the up and coming boat show in Fairfield County, Connecticut – the Greenwich In-Water Boat Show. This show features about 10 dealers with boats on display, all on the water. You can go on demo rides, but they encourage you to call in advance to schedule them (Don’t show up and expect to go on a boat ride). They are also strict about the vendors on display, only allowing boats to exhibit – there are no accessories, electronics, gadgets or goodies. You’ll be spending your time on the docks if you go to this show.

The Greenwich Boat Show hours are Saturday and Sunday (April 13 and 14, 2013), from 9 to 4 each day.

Road Trip!

And if you wait until next weekend and head a little further south, you’ll get to experience a boat show that I’m actually attending for the first time this year…

The Bay Bridge Boat Show is put on by the same folks who run the Annapolis boat sail and power boat shows in the fall, but this one is at the Bay Bridge Marina at the eastern end of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. This is primarily a power boat show, as they also hold a sailboat show in Annapolis the following weekend. It’s a laid back atmosphere with a mix of new and brokerage boats on display – many available for demo rides so you can actually get out on the water! If you are anywhere in the area, you should definitely make plans to check out this show…
