Boat Show On The Cape

There’s a boat show in Hyannis this weekend that’s been building up steam since it’s debut six years ago.

The Sixth Annual Boatbuilders’ Show on Cape Cod, “the best little boat show in the Northeast,” returns to the Cape this Friday, February 10th, and runs through the 12th.

The event is located at the centrally-located Resort and Conference Center. At this year’s show, boaters looking for something other than off-the-rack, production boats will discover more than 50 exhibitors and a large variety of custom-built sail and powerboats on display.

We also noticed the exhibitor list includes fun stuff, like the famous diddy bags from our friends at Nantucket Bagg, and the history buffs from the Cape Cod Maritime Museum. Local boatbuilders at the show include the fun-sounding Fatty Knees Boat Co out of Sagamore beach, the Cape Cod Shipbuilding Co. from Wareham, and many more artisans.
